Well, I'm here to tell you that there is truly something for everyone when it comes studying in a foreign country. If you're the adventurous type there are lots of amazing trips you can take to exciting lands like Argentina and Chile. Maybe somewhere like Berlin or Oslo is more to your liking and style. If so, you can study abroad there, too!

Less than five percent of university attendees study abroad. Wouldn't you like to say that you're a part of that elite and special group? When it comes to applying for jobs after college, potential employers will really take notice of the fact that you chose to study abroad. Right away, they'll see that you go the extra mile to achieve your goals and expand your knowldege. We are also in a global economy so having studied abroad is extremely important to international companies.

The opportunity to study abroad is truly a once in a lifetime experience that you will never forget. You'll not only come back with more knowledge and experience in your field of study than you had when you left, but you will see things and meet people that you'll never forget. By choosing to study abroad you get to immerse yourself in another culture and make friends around the globe that you wouldn't have met otherwise!

There are many different programs that allow you to study abroad. Some may last for a week, some a month, some a semester and some a year. No matter how long you'd like to spend in a foreign there is a program that can suit your needs. To find out more about the opportunities available to you speak to the guidance counselor at your college today. He or she can either educate you on the ins and outs of study abroad programs or refer you to another staff member who can.
